Bonchester Bridge is a hamlet in the Rulewater Valley, 9 miles from the Carter Bar Border in the heart of the Scottish Borders.
We are situated 7 miles from the picturesque town of Jedburgh which is overflowing with history! Mary Queen of Scots house, The old Jail (which is free) and the abbey. All well worth a visit.
The Busy Mill town of Hawick is also only 7 miles away. Where you can visit the Woolen Mills and purchase some lovely cashmere. Why not take a trip around the Borders Distillery see how the whiskey is made and it would be rude not to sample it!
